A real bit of Australian winemaking history here!
An unusual opportunity to try a well-aged Australian Pinot Noir from a highly respected producer.
These bottles were imported by Lay & Wheeler of Colchester, then stored by the original purchaser in an underground Essex cellar right up to 2015.
I’ve drunk a couple of bottles from this case recently and it is very much alive, with good acidity, still some fruit, and a lovely gamey “pinosity”. Delicious in fact!
Grouped purchases attract far lower per-bottle shipping charges – visit my Seller Profile page for details of this and my other T&Cs.
