A throwback to the days when an 85pt score was still considered respectable for a Cru Bourgeois!
Two recent 2019 notes on this wine from Cellartracker:

Coravin pour at home, bottle still has plenty of life left. I would not consider this to be a complex or profound Bordeaux, but it was certainly enjoyable and easy to drink. Cannot beat $24 for a 1989; excellent QPR.
Dark garnet with mild bricking.
Nose still fragrant, blackberry, pomegranate, black pepper, gravel, and dried fruit.
Med body, med acidity, only 12.5% alcohol (but tasted like at least 13% to me). Very nice mouth feel, round and plump on the tongue.
Palate has lots of dark fruit, black currant, blueberry, and unripe cherry. Gives way to earthy profile, anise, dried herbs, and rock/graphite. Nice dark chocolate and espresso notes from the oak.
Tannins are very fine and well integrated at this point, subtle but still drying on the tongue. Wonderful medium length finish.

Double decanted. Like the 1986 Lynch Bages this showed a fair amount of Brett on opening but this blew off to more manageable sweaty horse/dirty farmyard levels, accompanied by plummy fruit and persistent, talc textured grip. Rather lovely for a stinky Bordeaux fan like myself.
