Parker’s early review from 2004:
“This superb, light to medium gold/green-hued Sauternes is a full-bodied, opulent, enormously endowed, moderately sweet offering with plenty of pineapple, peach, caramel, and smoky new oak characteristics. With great viscosity as well as richness, and good underlying acidity providing vibrancy and definition, it should be at its peak between 2008-2030.”
Several recent notes on Cellartracker suggest this is in a very good place right now:

A deep golden colour, almost orange. Notes of honey, lemon and barley sugar, with considerable depth and richness. Fully mature, with good structure and balance. I think this should be drunk soon, as it is more likely to decline than improve.

Delicious to the taste buds and delight to the eyes with its amber-orange color. Tastes of honey, a bit of pineapple (?) and candied fruit. Really good as a dessert wine should.

4th time I have had this wine. Opened at the Granor Farms dinner with Apple Fritters with ginger and bourbon custard. Great bottle and pairing. Thick and unctuous with solid acidity holding the sweetness in check. Notes of honeysuckle, apricot purée and oranges. 95 points.
