If you’re looking for a slightly lighter style of Shiraz than those typically produced on the other side of Australia, this comes thoroughly recommended. It’s one of my current “house wines” for midweek drinking, but it’s much better than that in quality!
I’ve bought several cases of this on Bid for Wine over the years, frequently going back for top ups. One slight warning is that some of the corks have been quite dry and crumbly, making extraction tricky. But despite this nuisance, the quality of the wine has always been highly consistent and reliable.
There are two fairly recent CT notes, one from my local Colchester winetasting group where this went down very well indeed with a serious Rhone lover:

Oddbods Colchester Tasting Group – Plucked from the Auctions. (Back Room, Victotia Inn): Very smooth, with bramble and mint, long finish. Lovely savoury wine of mid weight.

Gamey, plummy nose with minty hint. On the palate, it’s very soft tannin, medium acidity. At peak. With sediment.
Grouped purchases attract far lower per-bottle shipping charges – visit my Seller Profile page for details of this and my other T&Cs.
