Initially rated 91-93pts by his Bobness, this has been tasted most recently by Jeb Dunnuck for the Wine Advocate in 2014:
“The Barruol’s straight 2004 Gigondas is a beauty. Loaded with spice-box, cigar, currants and tinges of graphite, this medium-bodied, impressively balanced 2004 has a great mid-palate and a terrific finish. Made from 70% Grenache, 28% Syrah and 2% Cinsault that spent 12 months mostly in barrel (70%) before being bottled unfined and unfiltered, enjoy it over the coming 5-7 years.”
