This is a reliable tasty Listrac now drinking close to peak.
Some recent Cellartracker notes:

Surprisingly drinkeable, in fact better than any I have had before. Far from giving up the ghost, this still has a healthy colour and some oomph. Finishes a bit dry, so drink with food. Classic Bordeaux flavours on a pedestrian level, do not expect finesse.

A single bottle of this vintage, bought on holiday in France years ago. Decanted 1h prior to tasting.
Good, dusty (when poured) nose with spice and apricots (?) later. Austere palate with mainly plums, cherries, apricot stones, and cedar pencil notes with spicy underpinnings. Really rather good for a Listrac but best with food (in our case, Aberdeen Angus beef). It got better with time and food (and disappeared all too quickly). On reflection, I have raised my score a point. Very good wine from a good vintage.

Ruby fading at the edges, there are hints of cassis and pencil box, but also more developed aromas of rosemary and bay, menthol, some spices ( cinnamon?) , stewed plums ,and vanilla. Still a chewy mouthful of black currant , chocolate, liquorice, and plums, acidity and tannins are medium and quite assertive. A great wine to accompany food with at least 5 years life ahead of it. Needs an hour’s decant to soften the tannins.
