An ever-dependable Cru Bourgeois that is now approaching its prime drinking window.
Jancis Robinson’s note from 2014:
“Very fragrant and ripe with great balance and accessibility. Not the concentration of a great cru classé but that means one can drink it earlier. With great pleasure.”

Impressive, plenty of stuffing, remains on the up curve.

I think this wine is underrated. It punches above its weight. It has a deep colour the nose is strong and it might be considered full bodied red fruit but it is well balanced with a reasonably long taste

This is a favourite of mine and continues to please. Opened and decanted for about 90 minutes before drinking. Light ruby, lots of earthiness, good black berry fruits. Went well with roast beef.
