Top class Pomerol from a good mid 90’s vintage.
90 Parker points and good Cellartracker reviews.
One cellartracker user gave it 93 points in 2017 and posted
“Into neck level, perfect cork. Medium ruby garnet rim. Acacia flower, ripe blackberry, some ripe and sweet rasberry, forest floor, hint of cocoa powder, expresso, leather, earthy and some savoury. Moderate intensity very good acidity, it is fading, yet with sweet, complex midpalate. Finish if brief, but oh so elegant. Cannot stop drinking and liking it. Drink up.”
Brought soon after released and stored in my temperature controlled cellar.
